United States Energy Secretary Chris Wright attempted to reassure oil companies during his visit to Oklahoma, stating that the turbulence brought about by President Donald Trump's trade war may be fleeting, and that the government fully supports increasing crude oil production. "The uncertainty you see about tariffs that's a short-term issue," Wright said in an interview during an energy conference in Oklahoma City.
