Sands China (00200.HK) plans to issue a rights issue at a significant discount at a 2-for-1 ratio.

According to the Zhizhong Finance and Economics APP, Neway International Development (00200.HK) announced that the company proposes to issue up to 758,341,877 bonus shares at a subscription price of HK$1.0286 per share. For every two shares held on the record date, shareholders will be entitled to subscribe for one bonus share. This is to raise up to approximately HK$7.8 billion in total proceeds. Alternatively, the company may issue up to 759,350,377 bonus shares to raise up to approximately HK$7.81 billion in total proceeds, assuming no changes in the total number of issued shares up to the record date.
