The National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) convenes a symposium on pharmaceutical safety responsibility system.

To thoroughly implement the deployment of the Third Plenary Session of the Twentieth Party Central Committee, research and improve the drug safety responsibility system, the National Medical Products Administration held a seminar in Beijing on April 25. Xu Jinghe, member of the Party group of the National Medical Products Administration and deputy director, attended the meeting. Experts and scholars from industry associations, universities, research institutions in the field of pharmaceuticals, and administrative management fields discussed and exchanged views from theoretical and practical perspectives on strengthening the governance of drug safety responsibility, and put forward suggestions for improving the drug safety responsibility system. The meeting emphasized the need to conduct in-depth research and demonstration, fully listen to various opinions, identify the key directions and key linkages for improving the drug safety responsibility system, study targeted, operational, and effective specific measures, and actively promote the continuous improvement of the drug safety responsibility system.
