This increase was mainly due to the overall average freight rates increasing by about 39.1% from approximately $558 per TEU in the three months ended March 31, 2024 to approximately $776 per TEU in the three months ended March 31, 2025, in line with market rate changes. This was also driven by the expansion of the group's long-haul route services. The group's shipping volume slightly decreased from 388,802 TEU in the three months ended March 31, 2024 to 384,237 TEU in the three months ended March 31, 2025, primarily due to the increase in capacity allocated to long-haul route services.
