China Aeroengine: WJ-6 engine officially enters the unmanned cargo drone market.

On April 25th, China Southern Aviation delivered the first batch of 2 WJ-6 engines to Guangzhou DiYue Orbit Space Technology Co., Ltd. in Zhuzhou, Hunan. These engines will be installed on unmanned cargo aircraft ranging from 8 to 10 tons. It is estimated that in the next 5 years, China Southern Aviation will deliver approximately 200 WJ-6 engines to this cooperative enterprise to meet the market demand for research and development of unmanned cargo aircraft. The WJ-6 series engine is a 3000-kilowatt turboprop engine developed by China Southern Aviation.
