According to the Chinese financial news app Zhitong Caijing, on April 25th, the Ministry of Transport and nine other departments issued guidance on promoting the integration of transportation and energy development. By 2027, a coordinated development mechanism for the integration of transportation and energy across multiple departments will be established, with policies, regulations, standards, and technical equipment gradually improving. The proportion of electricity in the transportation industry's final energy consumption will reach 10%. The installed capacity of non-fossil energy generation along transportation infrastructure will not be less than 5 million kilowatts, and the proportion of local consumption will steadily increase. The proportion of new energy vehicles in the transportation industry will increase year by year, and the production capacity of green fuels for transportation will significantly increase.
