Meituan releases the 2025 must-order list for takeout, with over 30,000 merchants from 40 cities nationwide listed.

On April 25, 2025, Meituan Takeout's "Must-Order List" was officially released, with listed businesses from 40 cities across the country including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Nanjing. Compared to last year, new cities added this year include Nanchang, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Haikou, Huizhou, Zhuhai, Huzhou, Guilin, Jinhua, Weihai, and other ten cities. This year, a total of 30,346 takeout businesses made it to the list, which is 1.6 times more than last year. Among them, small and medium-sized businesses accounted for 57% of the total, an increase of 9% from last year.
