On April 24th, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 28 of 2025, making an affirmative preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation into color coated plates originating from China and India. However, it does not recommend the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties. The investigation will continue, and the deadline for the final ruling on this case will be extended to 18 months from the date of initiation. This case involves products under the tax codes 7210.70.10, 7210.70.20, 7212.40.10, 7212.40.21, and 7212.40.29 in the city of South Kongs.
