At the Ecological Geological Survey and Ecological Protection and Restoration Technology Exchange Seminar in the Yangtze River Basin on April 23rd, it was learned that Hubei Province has made a new breakthrough in ecological restoration technology for abandoned mines. The method of "remediation and control of underground water pollution in sulfur-iron mines based on groundwater flow field" has been successfully implemented in the abandoned sulfur-iron mine in Guangdong Bay, Xingshan County, reducing wastewater by more than 80%, providing important reference for the "fundamental treatment" of ecological restoration for abandoned mines.
