Helping companies enhance overseas rights protection service efficiency Shenzhen's first temporary injunction insurance product launched.
On April 23rd, the Market Supervision Bureau of Nanshan District in Shenzhen, together with the Nanshan District Science and Technology Bureau, held a week-long intellectual property promotion event with the theme of "Global Strategies for Enterprise Intellectual Property in the Era of Artificial Intelligence." During the event, the city's first TRO insurance product was released, and companies signed contracts with insurance institutions on the spot. Following the landing of the first overseas intellectual property rights legal fee insurance in the country in 2024, the Market Supervision Bureau of Nanshan District focused on the pain points and difficulties brought by TRO in American courts to cross-border e-commerce, guiding insurance institutions to accurately develop overseas rights protection insurance products through the combination of insurance services and legal assistance. This product helps cross-border e-commerce platforms to quickly respond to suspected intellectual property infringement cases, such as the forced freezing of funds and the seal of sales channels, by providing prompt response from a professional team, enabling timely unfreezing of funds, and effectively reducing 90% of the rights protection costs for enterprises. By using intellectual property finance to assist small and medium-sized sellers in quickly responding to cross-border intellectual property risks, the efficiency of overseas rights protection services is further enhanced.
