Japanese Prime Minister Shippiro Shigeru stated that he has decided to develop an emergency economic plan to help domestic industries cope with the impact of US tariffs. Shippiro said on Friday, "Based on proposals from the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito, I have decided to create an emergency plan to respond to US tariff measures." The Japanese Prime Minister stated that these measures will focus on providing support to small and medium-sized enterprises that will be affected, taking into consideration their cash flow and employment situation. He also plans to assist farmers, forestry workers, and fishing companies. Cash assistance to low-income households will also be included.
