Seychelles opposition party candidate Herminie wins in presidential election.

The Seychelles Electoral Commission announced the results of the presidential election on the 12th, with the opposition coalition candidate Patrick Herminie from the Seychelles Party winning 52.7% of the valid votes in the second round of the presidential election, officially elected as the President of Seychelles; the current President of Seychelles, candidate of the Seychelles Democratic Alliance, Ramkalawan, received 47.3% of the votes.
