On August 21st, the account "Song Yufei" released the first video, claiming that she was rescued by a man when she was drowning at the beach, and now she is offering a reward of 200,000 yuan to find the "rescuer." During this time, the account continued to release short videos with titles like "Big Reward for Finding the Rescuer," sparking heated discussions and receiving tens of thousands of likes on multiple videos.
After investigation, it was found that Song Xue and He Long fabricated the false persona of "drowning woman" for the purpose of gaining attention, followers, and profits through online activities. They also fabricated the false persona of "rescuer" for He Long. Together with Chen Sheng, Wu Hui, Lin Yan, and Song, they staged a series of false videos titled "Drowning Woman Looking for Rescuer", misleading a large number of netizens to pay attention and sympathize, with the intention of gaining profits through sales and advertising after gaining followers. This behavior seriously disrupted social order and had a negative impact on the online environment.
Currently, Song Xue, He Long, and two others have been administratively detained in accordance with the law, while Chen Sheng, Wu Hui, Lin Yan, and Song have been fined according to the law.
