Public mutual fund investment advisory exclusive "Class T shares" implemented: existing funds to complete the addition before the end of November.
On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the public fund investment advisory pilot, the T-class shares designed specifically for investment advisory business have officially been implemented. Recently, a 21st Century Business Herald reporter learned from institutions that the Asset Management Association of China issued the "Notice on Properly Establishing Investment Advisory Shares of Publicly Offered Securities Investment Funds," clarifying that in order to standardize the development of fund investment advisory business, fund managers may, in addition to existing share classes such as Class A, Class C, and Class Y, establish an additional class of shares dedicated to fund investment advisory business, namely fund investment advisory shares. This class of shares does not charge subscription fees or client maintenance fees, and management fees are in principle charged at 60% of the original management fee. The Notice sets a clear timeline for the implementation of T-class shares; existing funds intending to establish them must complete the process before November 30, 2026. Southern Fund believes that T-class shares are a concrete measure to implement the relevant requirements of the "Provisions on the Administration of Sales Fees of Publicly Offered Securities Investment Funds." "This arrangement falls in the seventh year of the fund investment advisory pilot and is an important practice of serving the people through finance and upholding the priority of client interests, promoting the transformation toward buyer-side investment advisory in a deeper and more substantive manner." An Wei, Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of E Fund Wealth, stated that E Fund Wealth will strictly comply with the relevant requirements of the Notice and actively and steadily advance the allocation of T-class shares.
