Beijing: Accelerate the establishment of common technology empowerment centers for cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum information, and 6G, covering technology transfer, test validation, and pilot-scale maturation.

The Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area has issued a notice on the distribution of the "Several Measures of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area on Accelerating the Building of a High Ground for Open-Source and Open Innovation in the Information Technology Application Innovation Industry." The measures mention support for the construction of a batch of information technology application innovation laboratories in key information infrastructure industries, information security evaluation institutions, software and hardware adaptation testing centers, industry-education integration bases, and comprehensive service platforms, and acceleration of the layout of common technology empowerment centers for technology transfer, experimental verification, and pilot-scale maturation in frontier fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum information, and 6G. For relevant platforms operating asized entities, based on factors such as the capabilities of the platform construction entities, platform construction plans, platform results, and operational and development potential, support of up to 30 million yuan per year for no more than three consecutive years will be provided.
