Beijing-Hong Kong Investment Promotion Conference: 47 projects signed

Yesterday, the 29th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium held a themed investment promotion event and a signing ceremony for key cooperation projects between Beijing and Hong Kong. A total of 47 projects were signed at this year's symposium, with a total contract value of US$7.479 billion. Reporters learned that in the first three quarters of this year, Beijing's gross regional product grew by 5.2% year on year, high-tech manufacturing above designated size grew by 22.1%, and the integrated circuit sector grew by 1.3 times; from January to August, actual utilized foreign investment grew by 82.5% year on year, and 367 foreign-funded R&D centers have been recognized cumulatively the data are sufficient to show that Beijing has abundant momentum for high-quality development.
