Cloudbreak-B (02592.HK): Topline results of Phase 3 study of CBT-001 for patients with pterygium

Zhitong Finance APP news, Cloudbreak Pharma-B (02592.HK) announced that CBT-001, as a potential therapy for pterygium, has reported topline results from its Phase 3 study. Both primary endpoints achieved statistically significant results. Compared with the placebo control group at Month 3 for conjunctival hyperemia and at Month 12 for pterygium lesion length, the two doses of CBT-001 demonstrated highly statistically significant improvements. These results mark the first time a drug has demonstrated a disease-modifying effect on pterygium through statistically significant improvement in hyperemia and lesion size. Additional analyses are ongoing.
