Beijing Pu Hui Health Insurance adds 17 specialty drugs, with reimbursement up to 65%.

Today, enrollment for the 2027 "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance" opens. As Beijing's only inclusive commercial supplementary medical insurance guided and supervised by the government, in the next insurance year, 17 additional cutting-edge specialty drugs will be included in the coverage. The newly added specialty drugs can treat lung cancer, myelofibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other tumors, rare diseases, and high-cost chronic diseases. The insurance now covers 165 domestic and overseas specialty drugs, with the range of covered diseases expanded to 94. These specialty drugs include the latest marketed cell and gene therapies, monoclonal and bispecific antibody drugs, and some specialty drugs cost up to over one million yuan per course of treatment.
