Ministry of Commerce: In the first nine months, China's total trade in services reached 5,768.77 billion yuan, up 8.5% year on year.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that recently, the head of the Trade in Services Department of the Ministry of Commerce introduced the development of trade in services from January to September 2026. From January to September 2026, China's total trade in services imports and exports amounted to 57,687.7 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 8.5%. Among this, exports were 22,714 billion yuan, up 14.8%; imports were 34,973.7 billion yuan, up 4.8%. The trade in services deficit was 12,259.7 billion yuan, narrowing by 1,326.6 billion yuan year-on-year.
