Chengdu metropolitan area's GDP reaches 2.44 trillion yuan, up 4.9% year on year.

On November 3, the Chengdu Statistics official WeChat account announced that in the first three quarters of 2026, the Chengdu metropolitan area's gross domestic product (GDP) reached 2,443.29 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, accounting for 46.9% of the province's total economic output. Among them, Chengdu's GDP was 1,942.19 billion yuan, up 5%, accounting for 79.5% of the metropolitan area; Deyang's GDP was 257.43 billion yuan, up 4.2%; Meishan's GDP was 156.62 billion yuan, up 5.8%; Ziyang's GDP was 87.05 billion yuan, up 5.3%.
