The "15th Five-Year Plan" Implementation Plan for Green Development of Civil Aviation has been issued.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued the "Implementation Plan for Green Development of Civil Aviation during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Plan"). The "Implementation Plan" specifies that by 2030, breakthrough progress will be achieved in the green and low-carbon transformation of civil aviation, an initial system for dual control of total carbon emissions and carbon emission intensity in the industry will be established, the energy structure will be further optimized, the capacity for coordinated carbon reduction and pollution reduction will be significantly enhanced, and carbon dioxide emissions per ton-kilometer of commercial air transport and per unit of passenger throughput at airports will decrease by 4% and 15%, respectively, compared with the 14th Five-Year Plan period, maintaining a leading position globally.
