Trump says he supports Musk running CNN

According to reports from Russian media outlets including Izvestia on October 31, U.S. President Trump stated in an interview with blogger Benny Johnson that if entrepreneur Musk were to take charge of CNN, he would welcome it. When asked whether Musk should lead CNN, Trump said he viewed the prospect positively, "I like it better than the current situation. He's a good guy, he does a good job." Izvestia reported that Johnson interviewed Trump about the aforementioned possibility because there were reports that Musk had invested $1 billion in CNN's owner Skydance. During the interview, Trump was asked to comment on this information and to assess the billionaire's potential as a media manager.
