Qinda Rui Chu Huabin: The product supply chain determines whether a company can go global, while the data supply chain determines whether Chinese automakers can maintain global leadership.
On November 1, the Automotive Industry Going Global Model Innovation and Development Conference was held in Chengmai, Hainan, with the theme of "Industrial Integration Collaborative Going Global." Chu Huabin, General Manager of Qindarui Information Technology Co., Ltd., attended and delivered a speech. Chu Huabin stated that Chinese automakers going global are transitioning from product exports to system-level expansion. The product supply chain determines whether vehicles can go global, while the data supply chain determines whether Chinese companies can maintain sustained global leadership. He pointed out that with increasing investment in global R&D, services, and production, companies face challenges related to cultural differences, regulatory differences, and cross-border data flows. Since the implementation of the EU's GDPR, Southeast Asia, South America, and other regions have successively established data protection regimes. Cross-border data has become a two-way proposition, and companies must consider not only data outbound transfers but also data inbound transfers and repatriation.
