Chery executive responds to Luxeed independence: It should be more like a new-force automaker, rather than a "larger" traditional car company.

At the third-quarter media communication meeting held on October 31, Qi Shilong, executive vice president of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., responded to the independence of Luxeed, saying he hopes the Luxeed team will be more like a new-force enterprise rather than simply becoming a "larger version" of a traditional automaker. He said that Luxeed's independent operating capability will be enhanced through organizational scaling, product premiumization and gradual brand optimization. It is reported that Luxeed will introduce new products next year, while overseas business will still be operated independently by Chery Group.
