National Energy Administration: Studying the establishment of a green channel mechanism for state-owned enterprise procurement of independently developed gas turbines

Recently, the National Energy Administration and other departments issued guiding opinions on promoting the innovative development of gas turbines. The opinions propose strengthening the principal role of enterprises in innovation. Research and establish a green channel mechanism for state-owned enterprises to procure independently developed gas turbines, incorporate the relevant circumstances of state-owned enterprises' research and development, manufacturing, procurement, and operation of the first independently developed gas turbine into the special matters management list for state-owned enterprise operating performance assessment, and state-owned enterprises leading the undertaking of demonstration applications and industrialization promotion of independently developed gas turbine projects may appropriately break through the minimum rate of return requirement for project investment decisions. Fully stimulate the innovation vitality of private enterprises, and support capable private enterprises in leading the undertaking of independent gas turbine research and application tasks.
