Institutions predict that oil prices may be raised in this round.
A new round of domestic refined oil price adjustment window will open at 24:00 on October 29. Multiple institutions predict that oil prices may be raised this round. The current pricing cycle runs from 24:00 on October 15, 2026 to 24:00 on October 29. Liu Bingjuan, an analyst at Longzhong Information, said that the situation in the Middle East has recently been generally tense, the US-Iran standoff remains deadlocked, the Houthis have been attacking Saudi Arabia, and geopolitical risks are difficult to resolve in the short term, providing strong bottom support for oil prices. Liu Bingjuan pointed out that international crude oil has remained at high levels, with Brent steadily operating in the high range above $100/barrel. Affected by this, the domestic crude oil change rate corresponding to the current pricing cycle has continued to expand in the positive direction, and the corresponding upward adjustment magnitude has continued to widen. Xu Peng, an analyst at JLC, also believes that during the current refined oil pricing cycle, international crude oil has continued to strengthen driven by Middle East geopolitical risks, the crude oil change rate has moved in a positive direction, and the expected upward adjustment magnitude for domestic refined oil has continued to expand. Since the beginning of this year, domestic oil prices have undergone 20 rounds of adjustment, with an overall pattern of "thirteen increases, five decreases, and two strandings." If this round of adjustment is raised as expected, the 2026 price adjustment pattern will become "fourteen increases, five decreases, and two strandings."
