According to an official determination by the China Earthquake Networks Center, at 22:33 on October 22, 2026, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Baqing County, Nagqu City, Tibet, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. The China Earthquake Administration activated a Level II emergency response.
