Silicon Industry Branch: Market purchases on an as-needed basis; polysilicon prices remained stable this week.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that the Silicon Industry Branch issued a statement noting that, according to Antaike statistics, this week the transaction price of n-type recycled feedstock (rod silicon) was 43,000 yuan/ton, unchanged week on week; the transaction price range for n-type granular silicon was 40,000-41,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 40,300 yuan/ton, unchanged week on week. This week, the domestic polysilicon market operated steadily, with trading volume basically flat compared with last week, and the number of companies actually concluding transactions remained at 2-3. Some companies mainly shipped against previously signed orders, with new order activity proceeding at a modest pace. Downstream procurement was generally cautious, mainly for three reasons: first, there is a certain difference between spot and futures prices, and downstream buyers are watching and waiting for clearer price signals; second, prices in downstream segments are inverted, making it difficult to pass costs through; third, production adjustments at various companies are being implemented one after another, and the market is waiting for the effects of output cuts to become more evident.
