Li Qiang arrives in Tashkent to begin official visit to Uzbekistan

On the morning of October 17, at the invitation of Uzbek Prime Minister Aripov, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council left Beijing on a chartered plane for an official visit to Uzbekistan. Accompanying personnel, including State Councilor and Secretary-General of the State Council Wu Zhenglong, left Beijing on the same plane. On the afternoon of October 17 local time, Li Qiang arrived at Tashkent Humo Airport on a chartered plane. Aripov led senior government officials to the airport to welcome him and held a welcome ceremony for Li Qiang. Accompanied by Aripov, Li Qiang inspected the honor guard. Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Jun also welcomed him at the airport.
