Google announces breakthrough in core resource bottleneck of quantum computing

Google announced that its Google Quantum AI team has successfully overcome a key bottleneck in quantum computing: it has demonstrated on the Willow processor that a "magic state cultivation" scheme is feasible, reducing errors by about 40 times compared with not using the technique.
