Saudi Arabia says Houthi attack on Riyadh airport killed 17 and injured 333
Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi-led multinational coalition, said at a press conference held in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, on the 15th that attacks by Yemen's Houthi armed group on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport since October had caused a total of 17 deaths and 333 injuries. This was the coalition's first press conference in recent times. Al-Maliki focused on reporting the Houthi armed group's attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport and other locations, as well as the coalition's strikes against the Houthi armed group. Al-Maliki stressed that attacks on civilian airports not only undermine Saudi security but also threaten international civil aviation security. Therefore, the international community has a responsibility to address such cross-border threats.
