The spokesman for the Saudi-led multinational coalition, Turki al-Maliki, posted multiple messages on social media on the evening of the 13th, saying that the coalition had intercepted and destroyed 6 missiles and 3 drones fired toward Saudi territory that day. According to Saudi civil defense authorities, fragments from the missile interceptions caused injuries and damaged buildings. Al-Maliki said that the Yemeni Houthi armed group launched one ballistic missile each at the eastern Saudi cities of Haradh and Dhahran, which were intercepted by the coalition. In addition, the coalition intercepted 4 cruise missiles and 3 drones in Riyadh Province and southern Saudi Arabia.
