Because national security organs have special confidentiality requirements in performing their duties, some members of the public lack an understanding of them. It has been found through work that some lawbreakers exploit this information gap, carefully fabricate personas, impersonate national security police officers, and carry out fraud on a large scale, disrupting normal social order and infringing on the vital interests of the public. Two typical cases are used to explain the law, expose the fraudsters' tricks, and help everyone better see through scams and avoid being deceived. Impersonating a "national security-related enterprise" to commit fraud. The person in charge of a company in China falsely claimed that the company was an enterprise related to a national security organ, using inducements such as helping obtain "state-owned enterprise" status and helping "complete projects" to discuss business cooperation with other enterprises and individuals, thereby engaging in fraudulent activities. After clarifying the relevant facts and securing evidence, the national security organ, together with relevant departments, took compulsory measures against the person in charge of the company in accordance with the law. At present, the case is under investigation.
