HK Express sees 45% year-on-year increase in mainland Chinese passenger traffic to Hong Kong during Golden Week

Zhito Finance APP has learned that during this year's National Day Golden Week holiday (October 1 to 7), Hong Kong Express, a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific (00293.HK), saw a 45% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic from mainland China visiting Hong Kong; the number of mainland travelers taking Hong Kong Express flights and transiting through Hong Kong to other Asian destinations also increased 1.6 times year on year. October 2 was the peak day for passenger flow, carrying more than 13,000 mainland passengers in and out of Hong Kong in a single day.
