Recently, VCSEL chip maker Vertilite, a company under Vital Materials Group, officially entered into a deep collaboration with a top overseas medical technology enterprise and successfully secured a custom development project for 9XXnm VCSEL chips. These chips will serve as the core light source for a next-generation retinal vision restoration prosthesis based on brain-computer interface technology, specifically intended for the treatment of geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration.
