West Air responds to bird strike delay with no compensation: no accommodation arrangements as it is not the airline's fault.
Recently, a netizen posted online claiming that "on October 7, West Air flight PN6452 from Guangzhou to Zhengzhou experienced a long delay, and passengers had to spend the night at the airport, with the airline not arranging accommodation or compensation." On October 8, West Air stated, "Due to bird migration, the aircraft was struck by a bird and damaged, making it unable to take off normally. Because it was for public safety reasons and not due to the airline, it was unable to arrange passenger accommodation or provide financial compensation."
