Multiple Chinese-funded securities firms in Hong Kong have made adjustments, with mainland IPs only able to sell and withdraw funds.
Since September, multiple Chinese-funded securities firms in Hong Kong have successively notified mainland clients that they are adjusting relevant services in accordance with regulatory requirements. Existing mainland investors who log into Hong Kong securities accounts from mainland IP addresses will be unable to make purchases or open positions, nor will they be able to transfer funds into their accounts, but selling, closing positions, account inquiries, and fund withdrawals will not be affected. According to incomplete statistics, Guotai Junan International, Guosen Securities Hong Kong, Shenwan Hongyuan Securities Hong Kong and Shenwan Hongyuan Futures Hong Kong, China Securities International, CITIC Futures International, Soochow Securities International and Soochow Securities International Futures, Guodu Hong Kong, Industrial Securities International, Orient Financial Holdings, and others have all issued relevant arrangements.
