The first round of Brazil's presidential election voting has officially begun.
Brazil's 2026 national elections held their first round of voting on October 4. Polling stations across Brazil officially opened at 8 a.m. Brasilia time that day and closed at 5 p.m. Voters will elect the president, vice president, governors of 26 states and the Federal District, 54 federal senators, 513 federal deputies, and state and Federal District legislators.
