A hospital in Sana'a, Yemen, was attacked.
On October 3 local time, Saudi Arabia once again launched airstrikes on Sanaa, the Yemeni capital controlled by the Houthi armed group, causing the "Seventy Maternity and Children's Hospital" located in southern Sanaa to be affected as well. After the airstrike, the Houthi health department held a press conference at the hospital, calling on the international community to pay attention to the situation in Yemen and to avoid attacks on hospitals and their surrounding areas in order to protect local medical facilities. A spokesperson for the Houthi health department also said that the 12-year-long war has caused government medical institutions to lose about 55% of their medical capacity, with some medical institutions completely shut down.
