CAICT's Institute of Cloud Computing and Digitalization releases the "Research Report on the Token Economy Development"

Recently, the Cloud Computing and Digitalization Research Institute of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology officially released the "Token Economy Development Research Report." The report's core viewpoint states that tokens are moving from a technical measurement unit to an industry billing interface, and that the three core characteristics of the token economy lay the foundation for its operation. First, measurability: with tokens as the atomic unit of information, it provides a unified quantitative scale for cost accounting, performance evaluation, and efficiency optimization across the entire industry chain; second, tradability: relying on standardized interfaces and rule systems, it gives rise to commercial consensus on technology evolution directions and capability stratification; third, liquidity: tokens can flow freely across global applications and models, and their high composability provides foundational capabilities for complex applications such as RAG and agent toolchains.
