Institutions: Incremental AI server demand supports Q4 memory contract price increases, while pressure on the consumer side remains undiminished.
According to the latest memory industry research by TrendForce, in the fourth quarter of 2026, DRAM manufacturers will continue to allocate advanced process capacity to high-performance products for server applications, maintaining an overall supply-demand imbalance, but the pace of contract price increases is slowing, with Conventional DRAM expected to rise 10%15% quarter-over-quarter. The NAND Flash market is showing a dual-track development of AI acceleration and weak consumer demand that nonetheless drives price increases, with overall contract prices expected to rise 15%20% quarter-over-quarter.
