Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu Meets with Canadian Minister of Environment and Climate Change Steven Guilbeault

On September 29, Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu met in Beijing with Dabuluxin, Executive Vice Chair of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development and Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Canada. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on topics including China-Canada cooperation in the environmental field, the international multilateral process for addressing climate change and biodiversity conservation, and negotiations on an international instrument on plastic pollution, and agreed to continue the China-Canada ministerial dialogue on environment and climate.
