Germany's Volkswagen plans to recall about 2.86 million vehicles.

According to a statement released by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority on the 25th, German automaker Volkswagen Group confirmed on the same day that it will recall approximately 2.86 million vehicles worldwide due to potential steering system issues, including about 960,000 vehicles in Germany. The affected models include Volkswagen Tiguan, Touran, and Golf models produced between 2013 and 2024, as well as Audi models produced between 2017 and 2024. The German Federal Motor Transport Authority stated that the fixing bolts in the steering systems of the recalled vehicles may break due to corrosion, which in extreme cases could lead to steering failure.
