Senior military officials from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain meet to implement a joint defense agreement.

The military leaders of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan held a meeting in the Saudi capital Riyadh on the 25th, stating that they will immediately begin translating the commitments under the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement into concrete and effective military cooperation. The Saudi Ministry of Defense issued a statement on social media that day saying that the military leaders of the states party to the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement held a meeting that day to discuss ways to further strengthen cooperation among the armed forces of the three countries, including deepening intelligence cooperation and military coordination and promoting capability integration, so as to enhance deterrence and collective defense capabilities. The meeting also discussed the current security situation and the threats facing Saudi Arabia.
