Omdia: Mainland China PC shipments grew 11% year-on-year in 26Q2, with full-year shipments expected to decline 6%.

According to the latest Omdia data, in the second quarter of 2026, PC shipments in mainland China increased by 11% year-on-year, reaching 11.4 million units. Among them, desktop shipments surged by 42%, offsetting a 2% decline in notebook shipments, with the two categories shipping 4.3 million units and 7.1 million units respectively. Meanwhile, affected by weak demand and ongoing supply challenges, tablet shipments in mainland China fell by 13% year-on-year to 8 million units.
