On September 23 local time, Meta released the handheld AI device Muse Charm, equipped with an approximately 2-inch OLED touchscreen and a 5G modem, running a new operating system designed specifically for the Muse AI assistant. Users can customize the appearance, clothing, and voice of their virtual Muse character, and interact with the AI through the device. Muse Charm supports fingerprint unlocking, music and video playback, and photography, and can be carried via a wristband, lanyard, or simply placed in a pocket. Meta plans to launch it on the market before December, with the price not yet determined; according to reports, the price may be close to that of a smartwatch. The company says the product is mainly aimed at the Muse user base, and if market reception is good, follow-up versions may be released in the future.
