According to monitoring by the China Index Data Home Furnishing Edition, from January to August 2026, the number of fine decoration residential projects launched in key monitored cities was 400, a year-on-year decrease of 28.1%; the number of fine decoration housing units was 222,000, a sharp year-on-year decrease of 33.9%. Among them, the number of launches in August was 54, a year-on-year decrease of 11.5% and a month-on-month increase of 17.4%; the number of fine decoration housing units was 24,000, a year-on-year decrease of 34.8%.
