Omdia: Global true wireless earphone shipments in 26Q2 were 82.1 million units, down 0.7% year-on-year.

Zhito Finance App has learned that the latest data from Omdia shows that global true wireless stereo (TWS) headphone shipments in the second quarter of 2026 fell 0.7% year-on-year to 82.1 million units, the first year-on-year decline since the second quarter of 2023. As the world's largest TWS market, mainland China was one of the main reasons for the overall decline. Affected by the weakening boost from broader consumer electronics stimulus policies and the pull-forward of some replacement demand into 2025, TWS shipments in mainland China fell 9.5%. Shipments in other major markets such as the United States and India also declined, while growth in emerging markets offset these declines to some extent.
