The head of exchange supervision at Indonesia's Financial Services Authority, Sargito, said at a parliamentary hearing in Jakarta on Tuesday that the regulator expects the mineral and strategic commodities exchange, named Icomex, to obtain its operating license on January 1 next year. The exchange plans to launch trading on January 4. Sargito said tin will become the first product listed for trading on the exchange, citing the fact that tin already has a trading foundation on the Jakarta Futures Exchange.
