The National Health Commission and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued a pollen concentration forecast service notice for the coming week at 18:00 yesterday: Based on comprehensive assessment, it is expected that from today to the 21st, pollen concentrations in eastern North China and northern Shaanxi will be at a moderate level, i.e., Level 3; pollen concentrations in parts of Beijing, northern Hebei, and northern Shaanxi will be at a high level, i.e., Level 4. Pollen concentrations in most other parts of the country will gradually decrease. In autumn in northern China, the main allergens are herbaceous plant pollen. People with allergies are advised to check the pollen concentration forecast for their destination before traveling, and to take protective measures in advance when traveling from low-allergen areas to high-allergen areas.
